Our Story

Cambom is a kitchen slicer brand created by Changzhou Huarui Gongju Co., Ltd. It was started in 2024 by founder Peng Yiqing, together with a small team of product designers, testing specialists, and customer care people who cook in their own kitchens on weekends.

Why We Started Cambom

Peng Yiqing began with a problem she met in her own kitchen. Preparing family meals meant repeating the same cutting motion every day: uneven slices, fingers getting close to the edge, and prep time stretching longer than it should. She tried slicer after slicer at home, only to find that some slipped on the counter, some dulled after a short period of use, and some were hard to rinse clean after chopping. Instead of giving up, she started to study how people actually cut vegetables in everyday cooking, and Cambom grew from that question.

The Setbacks Along the Way

The road was not smooth. Early samples slid during use and had to go back for a steadier design; another batch dulled faster than expected, so the blade process was reworked rather than shipped. An early delivery batch arrived with parts loose in the box because the packaging had not been tested for long-distance handling. There were moments when the team wondered whether a small kitchen tool brand could make a difference. Each time, they went back to the customers who had written in, fixed the sample, changed the packaging, and kept going.

What We Believe

We believe a kitchen tool should fit real cooking routines: steady on the counter, comfortable to hold, and simple to rinse after use. We do not chase styles that look good in photos but do not hold up to daily prep. Instead, we listen to what customers tell us about the vegetables they cut and the way their kitchen works, and we adjust the products accordingly.
